Admissions
Join Tangal Secondary School from Early Childhood Development through the +2 years. We admit students to every grade, subject to seat availability.
How to apply
Admission opens at the start of each Nepali academic year (mid-April) and continues while seats are available. The process is kept simple so families can enrol quickly:
- Contact the school office — call 9851036462 or email [email protected] to check openings for your child’s grade.
- Visit the school at Bhim Bhawan, Tangal, Kathmandu-5 (Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Ward 5) during office hours, Sunday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, to receive the admission form and guidance.
- Submit the required documents — the completed form, previous grade-sheet / transfer certificate, and citizenship details or birth certificate for younger children.
- Confirm your seat — once reviewed, the school confirms admission and shares the class schedule, uniform and fee details.
Children joining Grade 1 must be five years old by the start of the academic year. For +2 (Grades 11–12), admission follows SEE results and NEB guidelines for the Management, Education and Humanities streams.

Higher secondary across three streams — Management, Education and Humanities — affiliated with the National Examination Board.
